The Israeli Iron Dome is once again active following a spate of attacks from enemy fire, same with siren sounds warning people of rocket attacks. Israel Defense Forces are saying that one rocket was fired from the Gaza Strip toward southern Israel, and it was intercepted by the Iron Dome missile defense system.

NO FATALITIES AS IDF RESPOND
A man and his young son have been injured, after falling while running to a bomb shelter, after a rocket siren sounded in the southern city of Sderot. Paramedics from Magen David Adom services are providing medical treatment amidst a high atmosphere of alertness for all emergency units. Both suffered light injuries, the ambulance service says.
The rocket was the third fired from Gaza in three days, following Saturday’s capture of Palestinian prisoners who escaped from a high-security prison on Monday. The other two rockets, fired from Gaza were also intercepted by the Iron Dome system. The IDF responded to both with strikes on terror targets in the Gaza Strip.

HAMAS WARNED OF “HEAVY PRICE” IF ATTACKS CONTINUE
Moments before sirens blared in Gaza border communities signaling the third rocket fired from the Gaza strip in as many days, IDF chief of staff Aviv Kohavi warned the Hamas terror group against further escalation.“If the situation escalates, Hamas and the Gaza Strip will pay a heavy price,” Kohavi has said at a naval ceremony. He is further stating that the IDF is working to maintain security on all fronts.
Hebrew media reports say that Israeli security forces believe the Palestinian fugitives who escaped a high-security prison last week had intended to reach the town of Jenin but failed to receive help to get them there.

ARAB ISRAELIS TO THE AID OF FUGITIVES CAPTURE
Five days into a national manhunt for the six Palestinian security prisoners who escaped from a jail in northern Israel, police captured four of them in Nazareth on Friday night. Arab Israelis who encountered the fugitives reported the suspicious sightings to authorities, aiding in their capture.
After interrogating the four Palestinian prisoners, police and Shin Bet security service investigators concluded they had no accomplices on the outside, or assistance from within Gilboa Prison, from where they made the daring and rare escape.
The escapees spent about 20 minutes in the town according to reports. After showering and changing clothes in the local mosque, the group split up into three separate groups.
Security officials believe they are closing in on the remaining two fugitives and strongly believe that they will catch them within two days. It is not known whether the latest rocket attacks are directly linked to the recapture of the four fugitives but intelligence reports suggest that Israeli defense forces are on high alert since the search for the six began. The Israeli iron dome is credited with saving the lives of many Israeli residents in a never-ending confrontation between Israel and Hamas.
